Lyon shines in New York: a night celebrating talent, innovation, and impact

On November 18, more than 170 ONLYLYON Ambassadors, partners, and friends of Lyon gathered at the French Consulate in New York for an evening spotlighting the people and ideas driving Lyon’s global influence. The goal was clear: highlight the talent and energy that make Lyon a force on the international stage.

Strengthening transatlantic connections

Deputy Consul General Myriam Gil and Didier Marty-Dessus, Scientific and Technological Counselor, opened the night by underscoring Lyon’s unique role in advancing scientific, cultural, and economic collaboration between France and the United States.

ONLYLYON&CO’s Bertrand Foucher and Nathalie Dompnier, President of Université de Lyon, then highlighted what makes Lyon stand out:
